This Privacy Policy describes how ReachArrive handles personal information when you use reacharrive.com, request a quote, contact our team, subscribe to email, or unsubscribe. We wrote it in plain language because insurance forms already ask for a lot of detail, and you should be able to see what happens to that detail before you type it.
We collect only what we need to answer an insurance enquiry, arrange cover with an insurer, support a claim file, send email you asked for, and keep the website reliable. We do not sell personal information. We do not ask for a contact telephone number or a postal address on this website.
1. Overview of our approach
Personal information means information that identifies you or could reasonably identify you, such as your name and email address, together with details you add about the cover you want. Some insurance details are sensitive. Health history, if you later choose to share it for a life or health application, and information about a claim, deserve extra care. We treat that material as confidential and limit it to people who need it for the enquiry.
The forms on this website run in your browser. They check that fields are complete and then show a confirmation message on the page. They do not, by themselves, transmit the form to a server. If you want ReachArrive to receive an enquiry, email hello@reacharrive.com. This policy still explains how we handle information when you do contact us, when an insurer application follows, and when you subscribe to email.
If a policy is issued, the insurer is also a controller of the information it needs to underwrite, administer, and pay claims. The insurer’s own privacy notice will apply to that contract. Ask us if you want help finding it.
2. Who this notice covers
This notice covers visitors to the website, people who send a quote or contact request, people who subscribe or unsubscribe, advisers’ correspondents, and people named on an application such as a spouse, a dependant, a driver, or a business colleague, where you have authority to include them.
It covers information handled by ReachArrive and by service providers who host email or keep records for us. It does not cover an insurer’s later use of information under its own notice, except that we explain why we share application details with an insurer.
If you give us information about another adult, you confirm that you have told them their details will be used for the insurance enquiry and that they can read this policy. Do not include a person’s information merely because it is convenient.
3. Information we collect
We collect identity and contact details that you choose to give us, mainly your name and email address. We collect the protection topic you select, such as life, health, home, motor, travel, business, family, or income cover, and the message you write. If you subscribe, we collect the interest you choose and a record that you consented to email. If you unsubscribe, we collect the email address to remove and the reason you select, so we can stop the right messages and understand the request.
Where an enquiry continues by email, we may collect further insurance details: ages, occupation type, property or vehicle description, trip outline, benefit amount, excess preference, and prior cover. For some applications an insurer requires health or claims history. We collect those items only when they are relevant to the product you asked about.
We do not ask you to place payment card numbers, bank passwords, or copies of identity documents in website forms. If an insurer needs proof of identity or a payment, that step should happen through the insurer’s own secure process, which we will identify for you.
4. Information you give us directly
You give us information when you complete a quote form, a contact form, a subscribe form, or an unsubscribe form, and when you email the team. You also give us information if you later reply with documents, correct a fact, or ask a question about a policy wording.
Please give accurate information. Insurance decisions rely on it. If a fact changes after you write to us, such as a change in the people to be insured or the use of a vehicle or home, email us so the enquiry stays fair. Do not send more sensitive detail than the question needs. A short description is often enough until an insurer asks for a specific report.
Free-text boxes are read by people. Avoid writing account numbers or another person’s secrets in those boxes. If you do so by mistake, tell us and we will delete the unnecessary portion from our mailbox where we are able to do so.
5. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our host may keep technical logs such as browser type, general device category, pages requested, and the time of a request. These logs help the site load, help us diagnose faults, and help us understand which guides are useful. They are not used to build a marketing profile of your health or finances.
We do not run a hidden analytics programme that follows you across other companies’ websites. We do not respond to “do not track” signals in a special way because we do not track you in that cross-site sense. Standard server logs may still exist for security and operations.
6. Cookies and similar tools
This static website does not set advertising cookies and does not require a cookie to submit a form. Your browser may store ordinary technical data so pages display correctly. If we later add a cookie that is not strictly needed for the page to work, we will describe it here before we rely on it and, where the law requires, ask for your choice.
Social sharing buttons send you to another service only when you choose to share. They do not, on our pages, embed a feed that places that service’s cookies merely because you scrolled. If you continue on the sharing service, its own cookie policy applies.
You can control cookies in your browser settings. Blocking ordinary technical storage should not stop you reading our guides. It may affect how some browsers remember a form you have not yet sent.
7. How we use information
We use personal information to reply to quote and contact requests, prepare illustrations, explain exclusions, pass an application to an insurer you want to approach, help you assemble a claim file, and keep a record of what was said so advice does not drift. We use subscription details to send the insurance updates you asked for, and unsubscribe details to stop those updates.
We also use information to protect the service: to spot misuse, to investigate a complaint, to meet a legal duty, and to improve the clarity of our pages. We do not use health information to advertise unrelated products. We do not use a claim story as a public testimonial unless the person has agreed in writing and we have removed details they asked us to remove.
The legal bases we rely on, described in everyday words, are: you asked us to do something (a quote, a subscription, a complaint reply); we have a legitimate need to run an insurance guidance service carefully; we need to meet a legal obligation; and, where a particular use requires it, you gave a clear consent that you can withdraw. If consent is the basis, we will say so at the time.
8. Marketing messages
We send promotional or educational insurance email only if you subscribe, or if an existing enquiry makes a closely related update appropriate and the law allows it. A related update might be a reminder that a quote illustration will expire, or a note that a document you asked for is ready. It is not a licence to fill your inbox.
Every marketing email will identify ReachArrive and will include a straightforward way to unsubscribe. You can also use the unsubscribe page on this website. Stopping marketing does not stop a message you still need about an application in progress, a policy document, or a complaint, where we are allowed to send that message.
9. Subscribe and unsubscribe
The subscribe form asks for your name, email address, the kind of insurance updates you want, and your confirmation that we may email you. That confirmation is specific to ReachArrive updates. It is not consent for other companies to write to you.
The unsubscribe form asks for the email address to remove and a reason. Reasons help us see whether messages were too frequent or not relevant. You do not have to write a long explanation. After a valid unsubscribe request is received by email, we will stop marketing messages to that address within a reasonable period, and sooner where the law sets a deadline.
Because the on-page forms do not transmit data by themselves, email privacy@reacharrive.com or hello@reacharrive.com to make a subscribe or unsubscribe request effective. Tell us the address concerned. We may ask you to confirm you control that inbox so we do not remove someone else by mistake.
10. Who we share information with
We share information with an insurer, and with professionals the insurer appoints, when you ask us to seek cover or to support a claim. We share information with email and hosting providers who process it on our instructions. We share information if a law, a regulator, or a court requires it. We may share information with a successor organisation if the ReachArrive service is transferred, and we would require that successor to honour this policy.
We do not sell lists of names. We do not exchange your details with unrelated advertisers. We do not pay for your data to be enriched with outside marketing profiles.
If we use a service provider, we ask it to use the information only for the task we set, to keep it secure, and to return or delete it when the task ends, unless a law requires a longer copy. Providers who merely carry email still see message content in the way an email system must.
11. Insurers and other insurance partners
Underwriting often means an insurer, and sometimes a reinsurer or a medical examiner, sees the risk information. A motor repair network or a property loss adjuster may see claim information. Those parties use the information under their own professional duties and privacy notices. We tell you the name of the insurer before an application is sent whenever that name is known.
We choose partners for their ability to consider the cover you asked about. We do not pass an enquiry to every insurer we know. If you want a particular insurer excluded from an approach, say so in your email and we will respect that limit where we can still help.
Shared information should be limited to what the partner needs. A home insurer does not need a full medical history. A life insurer does not need the registration of a vehicle. We structure applications with that separation in mind.
12. Handling across borders
Email and hosting systems can store or route messages through more than one country. Insurers may also review a file from a team located elsewhere. When information is handled across a border, we take steps appropriate to the sensitivity of the file, such as using providers with a written commitment to protect it and sending only the fields the recipient needs.
We do not use a cross-border transfer as a way to avoid this policy. The same limits on sale, marketing, and sensitive health information apply wherever the mailbox sits.
13. How long we keep information
We keep quote correspondence for as long as the enquiry is active and for a further period that lets us answer a follow-up, show what was explained, and meet ordinary record-keeping duties. Application and policy support records are kept for the life of the relationship and for a period afterwards that matches limitation periods and insurer audit needs.
Marketing subscription data is kept until you unsubscribe and for a short time afterwards so we can show that we honoured the request. Server logs are kept for a shorter operational period unless a security investigation requires a particular log to be held.
When a retention period ends, we delete the information or de-identify it so it no longer identifies you. Copies may remain in encrypted backups until the backup cycle overwrites them. We do not restore a backup merely to keep using data we have already decided to delete.
14. How we protect information
We limit access to inboxes and records to people who need them for their role. We use reputable email hosting, we avoid collecting card numbers on our own pages, and we ask you not to send secrets in a first free-text message. No method of email is perfectly secure. A message can be misaddressed or intercepted. Use a current device, and think before you forward a policy schedule to a group inbox.
If we learn of a breach that is likely to put your information at serious risk, we will tell you and any authority the law requires us to tell, with a description of what happened and what you can do. Please tell us if you believe an email from ReachArrive is not genuine. We will not ask you to reveal a password.
15. Your choices
You can choose not to give information, though we may then be unable to prepare a quote. You can ask us to limit a file to one insurer. You can unsubscribe from marketing. You can ask us not to use a story you once shared. You can use the website’s guides without sending a form at all.
You may object to a use that is based on our legitimate need, and we will consider whether your situation outweighs that need. You may withdraw a consent you previously gave. Withdrawal does not undo a use that was already lawful, and it does not cancel an insurance contract. To withdraw consent or object, email privacy@reacharrive.com.
16. Access, correction, and deletion requests
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct something that is wrong, or ask us to delete information we do not need to keep. Email privacy@reacharrive.com from the address you used with us, and describe the request. We may need to confirm that you control the inbox before we release a file, so we do not disclose your insurance details to someone else.
We will respond within a reasonable time and within any deadline set by applicable privacy law. If we cannot do what you ask, we will explain why. Typical reasons include a duty to keep an application record, a dispute that is not finished, or a request that would reveal another person’s information.
If you are unhappy with our response, tell us and we will review it. You may also contact the privacy authority that applies to you. We will not charge a fee for a reasonable request. We may refuse or charge only where requests are manifestly repetitive and the law allows it.
17. Children
Our website and quote forms are meant for adults arranging protection, including adults who care for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child for marketing. A parent or guardian may include a child’s first name, age, or relationship where a family, health, or travel policy needs it. That information is used only for the cover being discussed.
If you believe a child has sent us a marketing subscription or a quote form without an adult’s authority, email privacy@reacharrive.com and we will delete the marketing record.
18. Links to other sites
Our pages link to sharing tools and may mention an insurer’s own site once a quote is underway. Those destinations have their own privacy notices. Read them before you submit an application or create an account. ReachArrive is not responsible for the privacy practices of a site we do not operate.
19. Changes to this notice
We will update this policy when our practices change. The revision date below will move with the change. If a change is material and we have your email because of a subscription or an open enquiry, we will send a notice. Continued use of the website after an update means you have the new policy available to you. A policy contract continues to be governed by the insurer’s notice as well.
This policy was last updated on 12 October 2026.
20. How to contact us about privacy
Email privacy@reacharrive.com for access requests, corrections, deletions, subscription questions, and any concern about how information was handled. Email hello@reacharrive.com if your question is about a quote or a policy document rather than about privacy. Please use a clear subject line, such as “Privacy request”, and do not include payment card numbers.
We will reply by email. There is no telephone line and no postal counter published for this website, so email is the channel we monitor. If your message is urgent because a policy deadline is close, write “Urgent” in the subject and include the deadline date in the first sentence.
Thank you for trusting ReachArrive with the details that sit behind a protection decision. We use them to explain cover more clearly, and we keep them only as this policy describes.
